The Catalytic Polymerization and Engineering Research Group was established in March 2015 and upgraded to the Catalytic Polymerization and Engineering Research Center in April 2023. The center is oriented towards the reengineering of industrial processes and several "stuck necks" in energy and chemical materials under the national "double-break" strategy. The center currently has more than 70 staff and students, with project funding of more than 70 million yuan. It has applied for more than 150 invention patents, including 6 PCT and other international patents, and has authorized more than 40 Chinese invention patents. It has published more than 60 SCI papers.
